How to eliminate the risk of solar hot spots?

In what case does this risk exist?

This information only concerns the use of the Reflector in the sun. You are not concerned if you use your Reflector in sky light.

To visualize this phenomenon, look to see if the solar projection of your Reflector forms a sunspot comparable to the size of its surface. In this case, nothing to report. On the other hand if the solar projection forms a very concentrated point of only a few cm, then you are concerned by this message.

How can this potential risk be eliminated?

Here is the procedure to follow to avoid the risk of a hot spot forming. It involves using the flexibility and plasticity of the surface to give it a flat or slightly convex shape.

- Take the Reflector by its two ends in the long direction.

- Perform a manual bending action. As if you wanted to stretch a bow.

- Then observe the return of the surface by elasticity.

- Carry out the operation in small successive gestures to test the flexibility of the surface.

- Obtain a slight deformation to eliminate the concavity.

- Stop when the Reflector is flat again or slightly convex.
