Why is there a blue film on the surface of my Espaciel reflector?
When you receive your Espaciel reflector, you may notice a thin blue film on the back of the reflective surface. Don't worry! ๐
๐งด Where does this blue product come from?
These blue marks come from the protective film on the reflective surface. This protects the surface of the reflector during transport and handling. However, during the manufacture of the reflectors, the surfaces are stacked and a blue mark may appear on the back of the surfaces.
๐งฝ How do you remove it?
- It's very simple! Here's how to do it:
- Take a soft, damp cloth ๐งผ
- Add a little acetone (in small quantities)
- Gently run the cloth over the back of the reflective surface
- There's no need to rub hard: the blue marks come off easily โจ
๐ก Tip: Make sure you ventilate the room well while using the acetone, and avoid any contact with plastic seals or supports.
๐ What next?
Once the blue marks have been removed, the acetone evaporates.
Your reflector is ready for use! You can then take advantage of the gain in natural light it provides ๐ค๏ธ
